Can you imagine spending 3 months on an island in the middle of the Pacific Ocean surrounded by reefs for snorkeling, waves for surfing, and wind almost all year round for kiting?
On Namotu Island you can.
Planning a kite trip can become quite a mission. There are many places where you can practice kiteboarding in Mexico and the best thing is that they work in different seasons so you can kite virtually all year, if you are willing to embark on the mission.
Seven years ago we had a dream, to create a brand that would represent what inspires us the most and that would allow us to do what we love the most: being out there practicing adventure sports, finding balance through movement.
On the trip I was focused on three disciplines that are freestyle, wingfoil and kitesurf. There were days when the conditions were better for kiting with a surfboard through the waves and others for freestyle when the wind was less strong. Of the maneuvers that I wanted to nail: double heart attack which I achieved, blindjudge 5 and 317. The conditions were very difficult for double passes so I left it for homework for other trips.
